Summer Writes: Week 7

We’re over the midsummer hump, which is actually kind of terrifying! Here’s everyone’s goals for the week:

Melanie: Process five boxes and do some prewriting.

Matt: Finish drafts of syllabi, spend one day at the Hagley, and take notes on ten boxes of archival material.

Holger: Submit chapter by Friday.

Brenna: Finish outline and begin drafting chapter three, refresh historiography of the Haitian and French Revolutions, and spend one full day in the archive.

Carly: Finalize funding request, begin working on conference paper, transcribe interviews, go through Cameroonian newspapers, call archivist.

Dan: Sixteen pomodoros Monday and Wednesday, twelve Tuesday and Thursday, however much work is necessary on Friday to get the chapter draft done.

Add your weekly goals in the comments if you haven’t done so already! Happy writing!
